Playing Sonos through Spotify app then connecting to carplay

I have been using Spotify through CarPlay and have experienced all the problems that litter this forum.
I have a new issue, after downloading the sonos update. I can't access Spotify from the head unit and all the usuall tricks don't work.

I have the same problem. Spotify with car play says "connecting" but nothing happens.

I also have Spotify with Sonos configuered. Seems to be a problem with this combination.

After disallowing Spotify to connect to Sonos, Spotify is working properly with Carplay.

Finally I was allowing again to connect to Sonos, again Carplay operation with Spotify doesn't work.

Please fix this bug.

i have the exact same problem. I just updated the sonos link in my spotif and all of the sudden it does not connect to my bmw carpaly anymore. BAD TRADE OFF!

That doesn't sound good @hpb! Just to check - does it work without Sonos? Also, can you explain to us a little more why you're using Sonos to play music on your BMW? That'd be super helpful.
