Playlist not showing on smart tv

Hey,

For some reason, since yesterday 2.25.17 my playlist hasn't been showing up on my Smart TV (vizio, model: D24-D1). I have a premium membership. I have reset, re login,  and still nothing

We appreciate your reports about the TV app. Due to our inability to continue updating and maintaining the LibSpotify TV app, we had to take the unfortunate decision to remove the app from the some of our platforms. There’s more info available at www.spoti.fi/tvapp.

There are still plenty of ways to stream Spotify through your TV and other platforms! For more information, head to www.spotify.com/tv.

I Agree! They finally added a notification the the LG app on load to let let everyone know. It is what I thought must have been happening, but without any communication from Spotify it's hard to make any decisions.

It's nice to actually be told something about what is planned. Time will tell if there are improvements in a re-release... "On top of this, Spotify will also be removed from LG TV systems as we work on improvements. We hope to have a better version of Spotify on these in future. Watch this space!" (quoted from url in screenshot above.)

I'll believe it when I see it.

Hi all,

We really appreciate the recent reports for this particular Ongoing Issue.

If you haven't already, please let us know the make and model of the TVs that are either getting stuck at 'Loading...' when trying to open the playlists section, or are not showing any playlists at all.

We'll continue to pass this info onto the tech team, who are investigating this.

Thanks again for your patience whilst we work on it, we really appreciate it. We'll keep you posted with updates here as they come in.

I saw a reminder when I turned on my smart tv, that the Spotify app would soon be going away???? Is this accurate and if so, when is the date I will no longer be able to access?
Accessing Spotify via my tv, is the main reason I pay my premium monthly payment.

Please advise.

Thx.

I know! It's how I picked which TV to get! I can't imagine only being able
to use my phone when I have such a nice sound system through my TV.

You should have told us this 6 months ago. Some people have purposely
purchased TV's (at an expensive price!) so they could use this app on their
TV instead of having to stream from their phones.

This is ridiculous and you should be reimbursing premium users AND lowering
your premium prices.

Your customer service is SEVERELY lacking making Spotify look like they
can't handle their own company.

Your service is great, until this starts happening, the streaming is now
putting me over my data for some strange reason (I've been a premium
Spotify user for about 4 years now and have not ONCE gone over my data
streaming/downloading) and all of the sudden downloading and streaming has
put me over my data usage by about 2gb. Ridiculous.

While these "updates" are at least getting information to your users - it's
much too late.
