(Playlist) "Liked songs" restarts to first song

My Question or Issue

If I'm listening to, say song #237 in a playlist, when the song is over it always jumps back to the first song in said playlist. This happens with any song # I choose.

How can this be solved?

Edit: I say playlist, but I mean the list of "Liked songs"

I am also still having the problem even after I made sure everything is
updated and I'm unsure what I will do next byt if I find a solution I will

The issue happens when I press the "next" button on the keyboard, or when the song ends normally.

I’m having the same issue! It’s only in my Likes Songs. It’s very frustrating that I cannot listen to my music in peace without it jumping back to the first song. Please fix!

Another issue, I think it might be connected - when I play liked songs on shuffle and try to rearrange/delete songs from the queue, they move to correct place/disappear for a few seconds, and then reappear as if nothing has happened...

And i tried all the things on my devices but it doesn't workd for me.

And this is only happened on the "LIKED SONGS".

Try clearing your cache in settings then storage on the app then deleting
it and reinstalling it again. Maybe restart your phone before reinstalling
and if that doesn’t work, try chatting with the Spotify team and they can
clear the cache from their side. That’s what they just did with me and it
worked for now at least. I’ll have to see if it’s permanently fixed

Hello there,

I have been having the same issue for the last week or so. When playing alphabetically from "Liked Songs", after one or two songs it jumps back to the first one. I've already tried what has been suggested here and other threads. I don't notice the issue when playing shuffle order, but we know that the shuffle does not really gives a random order ;).

I am also having this issue. Doesn't matter if I have shuffle on or not, after finishing a song in any of my playlists spotify decides to jump back to the first song in that playlist. It's like listening to that first song on loop, it's incredibly frustrating.

Edit: the issue has self resolved for now. It was apparently an issue with my offline cache.
