(Playlist) "Liked songs" restarts to first song

My Question or Issue

If I'm listening to, say song #237 in a playlist, when the song is over it always jumps back to the first song in said playlist. This happens with any song # I choose.

How can this be solved?

Edit: I say playlist, but I mean the list of "Liked songs"

My recent problem is that as soon as astrack starts it reverts to the previous track.

This issue is happening to me as well. I have a playlist that when I listen on my phone, will go to the next song, however if I play from my iMac across the room, as soon as the song is finished it starts over. You can see this in the song queue as soon as you select a different device. 

 

Using the most recent version of the Spotify app on my iPhone 8.

 

This is super annoying as I want to be able to play a playlist from my computer that is hooked up to monitors, and use my phone as a remote essentially.

 

Please fix this bug!!

  1. Keep the app updated to the latest version on your devices.
  2. Perform a clean reinstall of the app.

Having the same issue, thought it was just me. I've had it happening for months if not longer. It Happens just as everyone else says, and I've got some other weird issues that seem to be similar.

 

The usual restart to beginning of play list, but also when switching audio players. I use my Pixel 4 for audio on walks, switch to either a google home device. When it switched, it will usually continue the current song, but immediately on the next song, switch to the very beginning again. From there, trying to play the last song doesn't work, and it just does a rewind of the current first song, as if nothing was played before it. Not only does it do it like this, but also when switching to my PC

 

I'm assuming you all know how annoying it is to find your last played song, in a huge soundtrack.

Good to hear it isn't just me.

Yup, that’s the same issue that’s been driving me crazy. Looking into the YouTube Music free trial to see if it’s a better option.
