Playlists aren't updating

Status: Closed

I've just resubscribed after 6 months and my Spotify player on Mac or iOS isn't updating my Discover or Discover Weekly. Both of these are only showing releseases that came out in Oct/Nov 2017 and aren't bringing me new releases based on my followed aritsts (for example, Marmozets' new album last week and Don Broco's new album today.)

EDIT - Having seen these don't work, I double checked and these are the correct links that Spotify is providing me. Also, I checked my Spotify Web Player and it's also doing the exact same thing.

Just to be sure, how often do you stream? Do you usually listen to tunes with Private Session enabled? If so, you'll need to disable it since it prevents Spotify from tracking your listening history.

 

We suggest you stream all of your favorite tunes as often as you can. Hopefully these playlists will update in the following week.

 

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
