Podcast plays previous episode instead of the next

Hello everyone,

 

We've received reports that people been having issues with auto playing podcast episodes from oldest to newest. Podcast plays previous episode instead of the next one.

We've tested this on our and can confirm that the issue has been resolved, so we'll set this one to Fixed.

OS Version - Windows 11 - 21H2

Still an ongoing issue on different version of Windows 11 (Home and Enterprise)

Same problem ... I am trying to listen from the oldest to the newest episode.  So if I am listening to # 10, when finished it goes to #9 instead of #11.  

I am using my Samsung galaxy note 20 to listen on my Pioneer Radio 2600NEX.

Hi,

 

I am trying to listen to a podcast from their oldest episode to the newest. I sorted it that way, but when I play the first episode on the list  (the oldest episode), when it is over, it does not go to the next one. I tried playing the 3rd oldest episode on the list and when it was over it moved to the one on top (the second). Basically the playback is wrong. I want to LISTEN from oldest to newest. Help?

Same issues as above. All podcasts play in reverse order. I've had this app downloaded for over a year, and this started a few months ago.

My Spotify does this as well. I listen to an episode and then it will play the previous one right after. Switching up the order to newest to oldest or oldest to newest doesn't help at all.

Good day,

I had the same issue as the others in this thread, however I have managed to resolve the issue myself using the Android App.

I too noticed that in the queue, the items listed we're all the previous episodes that I'd already listened to.

I selected them all and removed them from the queue.

After closing the app and logging back in, I then played the current episode, on checkung the queue, it contained the episodes in the correct sequence, i.e. those I hadn't yet listened to, also they were listed in the correct order 98, 99, 100...

@IanD193I've tried this a few times but it always reverts back to it's current hellstate the next day.  This isn't a fix.  The app should function without hacks.
