Podcast "Recently Updated" list not updating

This has been going on FAR too long and my patience with Spotify has pretty much run out due to a number of issues. I can no longer figure out what I pay you for.

 

How something as fundamental as this is still and issue is beyond my comprehension. It's absurd and unacceptable. I'm now having to use another FREE podcast provider because the one I actually PAY for is incapable of providing me with even the most basic of functions. All while creeping ads into paid premium accounts and allowing people to connect to others spotify with no means to stop them.

 

This app has become a clown show and this customer that has been with you from the very start is beginning to have little other than contempt for the 'product'.

Desde hace unos dos meses, recibo notificaciones con las actualizaciones de podcasts, pero, al ingresar a sus feed, lo útimo que aparece es viejo. Hasta ahora, lo he solucionado desinstalando y volviendo a instalar la app, pero, como imaginarán esto es muy molesto porque vuelve a suceder y pierdo todas las descargas que tengo en el dispositivo.

 
For about two months, I’ve been receiving notifications for podcast updates, but when I go into their feeds, the most recent episode that appears is old. So far, I’ve been solving it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but as you can imagine, this is very annoying because it happens again and I lose all the downloads I have on the device.

I agree that this is so annoying, and the length of time to fix it is baffling. I use Spotify a lot for podcasts, but I'm just going to stop now and use another provider because this is just ridiculous I'm afraid.

I have switched to Apple Music/podcasts already and feel GREAT about my decision.

ok enough. I am switching to Apple Podcasts as well.

I would encourage EVERYONE cancel your Spotify premium membership and switch to Apple. Spotify DOES NOT CARE about you as a customer and will not fix this issue. They care more about Video podcasts (terrible ideas) than keeping you happy. Good luck.
