Random songs are getting added to my library

Device:

Windows, Iphone 6 plus

Operating System Version:

Windows 10, Ios 9.2.1

Spotify Version:

1.0.26.132.ga4e3ccee on Computer, 5.3.0.1309 on iOS

Description:

Yeah, as the topic says every day or so a bunch of random songs get added to my library (making it harder to get to the songs i added). Not sure what's causing this or how to disable it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

To reproduce:

  1. Just honestly wait, it seems to happen every day or so, random songs are just added to my music.

Workaround:

Deleting the songs? lol, not much of a workaround, as I have to keep doing it

Additional information:

Usually 20-30 songs just get added at once, seems very wierd

This is a very annoying issue that Spotify still has. I've tried uninstalling my app and have nothing selected. If this keeps happening I'm just going to cancell my account. I'm not paying money every month to have Spotify put random junk on my playlist. It's not even the same genre I listen to. I listen to 98% rock and almost every random song is rap. I'm assuming those artists are paying spotify to push they stuff out and it's a super shady form of 'advertisment'.

This only started last night I went to download a song and suddenly about ten songs I’d never heard of were downloaded I deleted them and carried on and then I woke up this morning and two whole random albums deleted it again and literally just now I just realised that music I’ve never heard is playing that I’ve never heard and when I went to check but couldn’t see any newly added songs but when I skip through the songs there’s loads of added songs that I’ve never heard of how can I stop this cuz this is all happening within a few hours and it’s starting to annoy me if I can’t stop this I’m just gonna cancel my account

I've just started experiencing this issue.  Again, almost entirely rock, then I'm getting over 100 songs downloaded from a few artists, none of which I have heard of before (soolking, l'algerino).  after deleting, more songs get downloaded the next day, and now there has been a playlist created under my name.  Just logged out of everything and changed my password, hope this works.

I haven't logged in to any new devices, nor have I shared my account information with anyone else.  Hopefully Spotify can find a way to stop this happening, It's pretty disconcerting.

I'm having a similar issue.

I've removed 47 songs that I don't listen to and that I've not added, they're not my style or even genres I listen to.

I signed out of all devices and changed my password again and when I logged back in my library was full of music that I haven't put in the library.

I'm confused and have no idea what to do.

I also have this problem regularly. I've logged out everywhere and reset my password multiple times, it still keeps on happening, and it's really frustrating that Spotify doesn't seem to have any idea how to fix the issue.
