Release spotify for the original Gear S

Spotify has been released for the Gear S2, Gear S3, and the Gear fit... yet it has not been released for the original Gear S (as far as I know).

I'm unsure as to why this is... the Gear S is a truly great watch, and I have been holding out hope that spotify would come out for over a year now. Is there any reason as to why it has not come out for the original Gear S? or is there any plans to get it to the gear S?? thank you!!
