Samsung S5 - App no working

Since last update I received on Oct 5, 2015 I can't listen spotify in my Samsung S5, as I see on the web, there is a lot of people with this problem.

I'v tryied uninstall the application, clean the cache, delete all files and even I reset to default my phone and still not working.

Hi,

The Spotify has suddenly stopping working after upgrading to the latest version. Whenever I open it it crashes inmediately. I already cleaned up the cache and the data of the app.

I forgot to mention, when I clean up data and cache. The login screen works ok, but right after I login and I should see the home page with my music it crashes. If I open it again, it crashes right away when the app starts.

Same for me on Samsung S5, tried re-install app & clean datas but still fail...

Login screen works but application fail with a black screen, "spotify" appears on top-left and crash....

I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 too, so this seems to be isolated to this phone.

Spotify is working to fix this problem. I know someone in the programming department and everything should be working within a couple days.

Im having the same problem, ive the same phone and i did the same. I star sesion its all ok but then appear the messaje of the new 'running' and the app close and i cant open it, two day like this...........

We're aware of an issue with Samsung S5s and are working on a fix.

While we do, you can download a slightly older version of the app.

• Just head to your phone's Settings > Security > check 'Unknown sources'.
• Then head to this link to download the app: https://d1clcicqv97n4s.cloudfront.net/android/s5/SpotifyAndroid.apk
