Shuffle Doesn't Properly Shuffle

Whenever I press shuffle play at the top of all of my music it puts me onto a random song that always starts with an A.

So to avoid that I have been manually selecting a start song and putting shuffling on from there.

Unfortunately, that has now become ineffective as the app seems to think that shuffling through the songs that all start with the first letter of the original song. Occasionally it will throw in a song for the letters directly next to the first letter but nothing else.

Is anyone else experiencing this, and how do I fix it?

I'm experiencing the exact same issue over the past few days. It totally ruined the way I listen to music on Spotify and I have no idea how to fix it. I'm considering cancelling my account. Hope they fix it soon.
