Shuffle (random play) Broken

Since the past week or so, or when ever the last update went through, the songs are not so random when on "shuffle" mode.

It will play 2 or 3 songs, then it repeats the 4th song like 2 or 3 times.  Then it plays a few more songs.... and after another 2 or 3 songs.... the next song itself repeats itself another 2 or 3 times.

I've already tried to uninstall and re-install Spotify a few itmes and it does not fix it.
