Song Progress Indicator on Car Player

When a Windows Phone is connected to a car player via bluetooth, no song progress indicator is displayed on the player although it is visible on the phone. Could this basic feature be added to the Windows Phone app?

Thanks for getting back to me.

The song progress indicator works fine if I use the Groove Music (formerly Xbox Music) app on my Windows Phone (Lumia 650 with Windows Mobile 10). I have regularly tested this issue with different Windows Phones and Spotify versions for over two years, and the result has always been the same: The Spotify app does not display the song progress indicator on the car player connected via Bluetooth. However, and most importantly, the indicator works just fine on the car player if I use the Spotify app on my iPad in the car.

Taken together, the problem appears only with the Spotify app for Windows Phone (current version: 5.2.4.0); everything else works.

Hi @marbe,
No, the song progress indicator has never really worked in my experience. However, some previous version(s) displayed numbers/digits that were completely bogus (not changing at all or unrelated to the actual progress of the song) while the current version does not display anything.
