Song not available

Status: Not An Issue

Hi. Since today I'm not able to play "Mi cama huele a tí (feat. Zion & Lennox) - Version Salsa" either on my computer or my iPhone. I've got a message saying "This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it.".


This is not something I like to go through being a premium user. Please fix this asap.

One song ,ok because all of my songs stopped playing, they continously unsave themselves and have to be redownloaded. I'm a premium user and now nothing will work  this site is constantly not working right . when will someone make a music site similar to this that actually works. it's pretty obvious that spotify doesn't care or they would fix these problems that have been happening for YEARS!!!!. I'm basically paying for something that only work half the time if I'm lucky. amd my start a topic option completely dissappeared months ago and has not returned ,there is no customer support so I have to resort combing through hundreds and hours of forums to "reply" to other people's topics . I'm just about done with spotify. VERY VERY FRUSTRATED!!!

Thanks for reaching out 🙂 I took a look into this and it seems that that specific song is not available in any markets currently. It's not a matter of subscription, rather due to licensing agreements with the labels, and that means that content varies from region to region or it's missing altogether. Also, sometimes, agreements can’t be reached with the artist or label, or a change may happen in music ownership. That song may appear (or reappear) soon. In the meantime, feel free to contact the artist or their label to ask when they plan to be on Spotify.

It seems you're having a different issue. Have you tried performing a clean reinstallation of the Spotify client in your devices? That usually does the trick 🙂


As for any issues you may be experiencing in the community, I'd suggest you contact a Spotify community moderator so that they can take a look. Do you experience the same issues in other browsers? If not, try clearing your cookie/cache memory in your browser.

Hi Kates.
I appreciate your comments and now I understand it's not a matter of spotify subscription. However, can you please publish content after you're absolutely sure about it can be published? There are a lot of benefits of using spotify versus the old download-a-song method. And if you offer the candy but then you take it back, it's not funny anymore.
I'm a new spotify user and have discovered all the benefits of this cloud application. But if "soon" is not enough I'll back to the old school download MP3 method. Don't get me wrong, I love spotify, but I can't deal with the fact of building playlists but suddenly (and without any warning) they might be empty.

As I said, this is entirely up to the artist or the label that represents them to decide if they want to make available a piece of music on Spotify, or even take it off Spotify. It may reappear soon. I'd suggest you get in touch with the artist or their label to check if they consider making available their song on Spotify again in the future.



Well,haven't got a chance to try it out yet ,cleaned my browser cache ,everything else is clean. I have about 150 songs ,it has now taken over two & a half hours and only 82% done redownloading. This is numerous times now spotify has wiped out my offline use of them . I'm paying for this I shouldn't have to keep taking hours out my day to redownload everything. And I haven't even mentioned the fact that sometimes some downloaded songs won't play at all & sometimes they will or they will stop with a gap and I have to fast forward the same gap if I want to continue listening to that song. As far as asking spotify anything, I don't even know how to do that ,they don't make it easy, I've only found the "start a topic" option twice in months ,it's always nowhere to be found ,once in a while I guess it'll pop up. Always an issue with this site.

Make sure you have th necassary free disk space to make your lists available offline. It would explain why it doesn't download fully your lists otherwise...


As for the community, I'd suggest you head to the appropriate board in the Help section (eg. Android, iOS, Desktop Mac or Desktop Windows/Web Player) since the Rock Stars active in each board should be able to help you more in regards to any other issues you're experiencing on the Spotify client.
