Looking into this, it seems like everyone is having a slightly different experience. The root cause of these playback issues seem to be related to specific set ups, which is difficult to solve as a group.
It looks like a clean reinstall has solved this for most, and for some new headphones were the solution. If you haven't tried a reinstall, we'd recommend following the steps here.
