Sporadic issues with the app mainly affecting Playback and Search features

My Question or Issue

Hi, I got an issue where when I search for any artists or songs, it shows "no results found" how do I fix this

My Question or Issue

I will start this with the fact that I have stable internet, in which all other apps and functions of my phone are working well. When I queue or have a playlist running my music will often just stop. Even when I hit play, the songs won't actually play, but if I select a different song they will work. This has happened multiple times with different songs from different artists.

My other issue is that I will search for songs that I know exist and the search will just show me "Couldn't find 'song title'," despite me knowing that the song exists and that I am connected to the internet. Both of these issues seem to be happening to multiple other people on Reddit (r/spotify) as well.

My Question or Issue
Ive had this issue in the past and Ive tried all the suggestions and “fixes” on the help boards and reddit. Ive reinstalled the app, logged out and back in and cleared my cache. Nothing has fixed this. Ive been a premium member for years and now the app is unusable.

My Question or Issue

(Keep in mind I am online at all times when this happens) I downloaded a bunch of songs onto my iPhone and they all play perfectly fine, however if it’s not downloaded it will play for the first 5 seconds and then stop playing or will not play for a good minute and then start playing. I had this issue before on my old phone and I thought it was due to storage issues but on my new phone I have around 100GB. This error never happens when I don’t have any songs downloaded but the moment I do this happens.

After listing to a show on my spotify account, all of my music would stop after 10 seconds of playing. I have tried multiple different Playlist and songs and it seems to be happening on all of them. I have done the following steps:

• Restarted the app

• Deleted cache via app and restarted it

•Turned WiFi off and restarted it

•Reinstalled the application

•Deleted app and cache data from phone settings

•Restarted phone

•Restarted router

•Turned on offline mode, restarted app, and turned offline mode off

•Made sure internet was enabled for app

•Attempted to download music (unable to do so)

After all of these attempts, nothing changed. Songs were still stopping after 10 seconds. Does anyone have an easy fix that i have not tried?

Status changed to: Under investigation

Hey folks!

The teams in charge are aware of this and are investigating as we speak. However, a lot of users have reported the service is back working as usual. This seems to be a sporadic issue.

In case you're still experiencing inconveniences with the service, try logging out and back in and/or restarting your devices.

We'll check back here with a new status once we have more info.
