Spotify Connect - Iphone Volume issue

I dont want spotify to increase my Iphone device volume when I am trying to only control spotify track selection with the phone. This is really annoying at work. I keep my device volume at 0 but when I use Spotify connect my Iphone volume reaches maximum. I cannot browse Instagram and anything else on my phone with the fear of a video playing loudly on my phone whilst I am using the headphones and listening music via my desk computer. Please fix this ASAP

Could you send us your iOS and Spotify version? Also, have you tried logging out and logging back into Spotify to see if it helps?
