Spotify Connect doesn't work

Status: Closed

Device: Denon X2100W, Android, Windows 

 

Operating System Version:

Android 5.1, Windows 8.1 pro

 

Spotify Version:

4.3.0.922

 

Description:

I cannot connect to the receiver using spotify connect. Either it doesn't show up as available or it shows but if selected nothings happens. Two weeks ago it worked sporadic, last week worked fine this week doesn't work at all.

To reproduce:

Try to connect to the receiver using Spotify connect.

Workaround:

I tried to remove Spotify and install it again

Tested Spotify Connect using different devices (Android, Microsoft)

Restarted the router removing power supply for 10 Minutes

Restarted receiver removing power supply for 10 Minutes

Nothing helps.

Additional information:

 No changes have been made since 3 weeks, except spotify update to the newest version (android Device and Windows computer).

No matter what I try it still doesn't work, even resetting the receiver to the factory settings.

I have the exact same problem. What's the status on this? It worked perfectly up to the point of a new update from spotify.

i also have a Denon 2100w

and tryed from different phones and reseted all i can nothing happens

Hi

 

 

i also have this problem since the last update, Always worked fine connecting tot a harman kardon 161s receiver. Now when i try, it tries to connect and then stops.  Everything had a reset, different mobile devices
