Spotify Family Accounts Going Free

Hello,

 

Sorry if this is already an known issue.

 

Many users are having an issue where all of their family accounts go free and says they need to proove they all live in the same address. 

 

I always tell them to contact Support with this reply:

Is there a issue known why is randomly does this, they say it works for a long time, sometimes even years, then it just randomly does it without any changes made to the account.

Spotify has recently introduced stronger safeguarding features on the Family plan to ensure the service isn't being abused, Spotify might downgrade users to Free if they are unable to confirm they living at the same address. If they reach out to Cares the team will be able to check this manually and assist the user.
