Spotify - Fix Shuffle or I will cancel

We all know that your shuffle algorithm is completely **bleep**ing broken. I've seen countless posts without any foolproof solution. I've tried every single recommendation people have posted here and none of them should be a recommendation frankly. Spotify needs to fix this. Your users should not be trying to fix a feature of your app. To me, that is absurd. It should be a simple solution with all of the developers you have at your disposal. I think we know the real reason your shuffle is broken: financial gain. This is why the shuffle algorithm keeps playing the same **bleep**ing songs.

I would love to hear from Spotify why this has not yet been fixed despite countless posts on the subject.

This needs to be fixed or you're going to have a mutiny on your hands.

This issue is important and it should be simple enough for Spotify to correct.  However, it appears to have been around for years, requiring users to use third party workarounds, or in other cases, simply selecting Filter, and ordering the songs in a playlist in alphabetical order and playing them sequentially to simulate a random/shuffle play involving all songs in a playlist.  On Shuffle Play, I find that in my playlist of ~1100 songs, after a few hours on the road listening, the same set of songs repeats again, meaning only ~50-100 songs of my playlist are heard.  This happens to many users with playlists of reasonably large size.  I would even take a fully random version of the playlist Shuffle Play, with at least all the songs having an equal probability of being played next with a different random number generator "seed" being used each time I select Shuffle Play.  Right now, despite claims of detailed algorithms, etc, there is something else more fundamental that is keeping the Shuffle Play from working properly on longer playlists.  Spotify is a great application.  But this issue needs fixing. It should not involve logging out/removing the app from a device, etc, as for Premium members, this often requires all downloaded songs to be re-downloaded afterwards, taking time and using GB of internet allocation.  We would all appreciate a detailed look at this by the Spotify engineers.  Feel free to contact me or any of the users reporting this problem directly.  I am sure we would all be pleased to interface to help advise towards the solution.  Thanks,

Alfredo
