new update has arrived. but, I always get the same error. "It seems like the Spotify Updater wasn't able to start properly. Do you want to wait a bit more?"

Hey everyone,

This is now fixed. If you're still not able to install or update the app, create a new thread and we'll help you from there.

All the best! 🙂

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to the community!

Updating issues can be caused by many different reasons.

However, installing a fresh copy also guarantees you get the latest version of Spotify.

Make a full uninstall of the Spotify program, get the latest version online and reinstall it.

Let me know if this helped=)

But, my all ofline music delete. Are you haven't different solution?

OneByBoo

Hey there,

Thanks for getting back with me and for your patience=)

Let's try another thing together.

Head over to your account page online here and click "Sigh Out Everywhere".

After loging out from all devices get a Registry Cleaner program (doesn't matter which one) to scan your PC for issues to fix.

Then, log in to your Spotify desktop app and try updating again.

Let me know if it did the trick.

I would hard delete it on the computer and redownload once you've tried that? Also make sure you have space on your computer to run the updater if that doesn't work?

Hey, thanks for the fast comment.

How do I hard delete it?

I have 150gb  of free space so I don't think it's the problem.

Thank you again.

For Window's 7 I'm not sure so I'd try googling it? I tried to link an article but it didnt work in posting on here?

Once you've done that go into files to ensure you've deleted all traces of the app. You may have to try it with the updater too?

Also clear the recycle bin to ensure it's gone for sure. The redownload it and the updater if you need to do that too.

It may have to do with Random Access Memory being why it's not able to run, which you can clear by shutting the computer down/restarting. If it get to full it slows and stops apps.

my internet is limited. think of copying previous music files from previous spotify. After installing the fresh copy of the spotify, can I install it again?

Chaeypop

I'm having the same problem too, for a few days now

Edit: I've been speaking with support for a while today, i tried re installing a few times, using a different account, etc. All of that stuff didn't work.

semihcanylmz

yes, me too.
