Hi there, when i Launch spotify from the Dekstop everythings runs fine, and i'll maked an test account on my Windows, and windows fully DELETED spotify and the folders for the New account, that's actually really strange.. and i'm afraid that spotify is a virus program again because i'll have the FREE version.. 😞 and in the Webplayer when i close my Browser when the music is playing it's playing over the time that it is supposed to be.. LOL and when i paused it for to long i don't be able to play it again 😞 LOL

so lett me know when the Webplayer will be Updating again, and lett me know of the Spotify (Desktop) is trustable, and virus free and of the staffs will check the program sometimes for viruses or not 🙂

Hi, @user-removed!

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

Could you let us know what device, operating system and Spotify version you're using? Also, do you remember if this started happening after a specific update or event? We'll see what we can suggest.

Keep us posted.

I now use the Spotify webplayer (latest version) i deleted the Spotify program from my PC.

And sometimes the Webplayer (bar) doe's an bugg loop and the nummer will plays like (664 minute of 3 minutes playing) but that's sometimes and i use: Windows 10 (1073) Latest Build 🙂 but i have been using Spotify very long but are the ads (advertisions) on Spotify-free Scanned for viruses, malware, rootkits or Backdoors? because i have read on many websites that the free version sometimes have Bad ads (advertisions) can trick into your computer and infect it? is this true or not? or will i be safe with Spotify (desktop-app) and are the ads Safe? and is the Spotify webplayer even good as the desktop app? 🙂 greetz brent

No worries, @user-removed!

Could you let us know what browser you are using to listen through our Web Player? Also, we have more info about the ads on the desktop app here

Keep us posted.

Google chrome and a Chinese browser (Maxthon 5) but can you tell me off the ads are safe now in the Spotify desktop version? 🙂

Thanks for letting us know!

If you use an incognito window, do you have the same issues with the Spotify web player? Also, we can assure you that the ads in our app are secure.

We'd recommend installing the Spotify app again and let us know if you have any issues.

Take care 🙂

I will install it again on my (4 computers) next day and in incognito mode it's the same 😞 but really thank you to say me that the Ads are save now 🙂 and hope it will never get a virus again in it, and that it always been checked by Spotify 🙂 I stay tuned 😄 So much thankyou, now can i re-use Spotify-free for forever 😄
