Spotify and 2015 Chevy Equinox

My spotify app does not play properly on my 2015 Chevy Equnox since the most recent updates. It does not display album cover art anymore and makes my screen on my radio freeze on the song that was playing previously causing a major lag. Then when it is plugged into the USB it just displays a question mark for the album artwork unless i skip to a new song.

Hi I've tried a clean reinstall of the app and no luck even restarted my phone before I added the app back

If it's possible, can you try using a different device with your car system to see if the issue persists? Also, make sure that you have the latest firmware update on your car system.
