Spotify app not loading on Android devices

We're receiving reports from Android users who say that when launched, the app gets stuck on the Spotify logo, refusing to load any further. This is being investigated.

The version of Spotify you're running. - 02/07/2022 version
The troubleshooting done so far. - Rebooting restarting reinstalling cache clearing reached out to the support they did something too

Hello,

The issue i am facing is similar to many others i logged out of my account Thursday and every time I have attempted to open the app since has been met with a endless loading screen showing just the logo 

 

Currently on a Samsung Galaxy S9+ 

 

Running spotify version 8.7.44.968

 

As for troubleshooting I've tried 

Uninstalling/reinstalling 

Clearing cache/data

Restarting my device 

Updating

Removing/Reapplying the apps permissions 

I've tried opening the app through different avenues (through email links websites other apps ect)

I am also facing the same issue, contacted support and they were of no help.

 

Tried everything short of wiping the Android OS on my Samsung S21.

 

Please, fix this ASAP.

I have the exact same issue, been stuck on the green logo for a few days now. Samsung S10 user and premium Spotify account holder. I have tried everything that has been listed by everyone else. When I have opened the application and it remains on the green logo, I checked my memory usage and it was rising slowly idk what that means. I have deleted caches and data but everytime I do the data seems to reset or something idk. Forced stop etc. Checked for updates of phone and app, reinstalled etc. Originally the problem occurred after uninstalling and reinstalling the app to try and fix my music and podcasts constantly pausing, dunno if it's related 😞

Since the last update, the same thing happens to me and my friends, the screen stays on loading and the login stage does not appear, I have a Samsung Galaxy A12 Version of Spotify - v8.7.44.968

App is opening slowly. Once it does that, it's not opening the downloaded songs, playlists or playing anything that is searched.

I opened Spotify on web but is working fine and loading everything that is associated to my profile.

 

 

Device Model, Make, OS: Samsung Galaxy A50, One UI 3.1, Android 11

Troubleshooting: -Rebooting device, clearing cache, reinstalling application.

App force closes upon launching. Previous version did the same thing. Seems to happen every couple of versions. Spotify never can seem to get this fixed. This issue has plagued this app for years.

This issue began for me on June 30 when I log out of my account.

 

  • My device - Samsung A31 (SM-A315G/DS) running Android 12 / One UI 4.1
  • Spotify version - v8.7.44.968
  • The troubleshooting done so far - Rebooted device, reinstalled apps, clear data and cache, enabled all permissions, and I even reinstalled the previous version (v8.7.42.943) and still got the same problem.
