Spotify.exe wakes up PC from sleep after a short interval

How to replicate: put PC to sleep with Spotify.exe running, and it will wake up shortly. Power settings tool output after the PC gets woken:

Please consider this as a high priority issue. This bug affects the operation of the computer outside of the Spotify application. Waking a computer that has entered sleep mode as part of a defined power management policy is wasting power and the money of the computer owner.

this is a HUGE fire hazard ... Spotify needs to fix this ASAP. The other night I woke up with my computer on my bed. It was burning hot because spotify woke up my computer.

For some reason Spotify.exe is running in the background after a reboot but isn't showing up in the system tray. I just checked the tray to see if it's running before setting the PC to sleep and it woke up anyway.

Why would Spotify.exe need to create wake timers in the first place? It's baffling behaviour and makes me wonder what else the Spotify client could be doing. There's just no reason to trust Spotify after something like this, and I might as well be paying monthly to use malware. There's also been no response or fixes for something so important.

Hello, the issue is very serious, computer wakes all the time, since spotify always set new wake timer when it's running. I have Windows 10.

Please look at this bug asap.

What happened to the 'me too' button? This is a serious issue. Fix it soon and if I ever see it again I'm **bleep**ing done with Spotify's software bull**bleep**. More screwups than anything else since 1.0.

... I have been so confused why my pc restarting all the time and finally found answer after typing "powercfg -wakertimers" in command prompt. Spotify.exe is restarting my PC!

Please fix this issue ASAP because I need to remote-control my PC and do not like to get my PC autorestarted when ever Spotify.exe likes!
