Spotify freezes: Have to force quit: Music still plays

My spotify will freeze about a minute into the song. Everytime, no matter the song. It will not let me click anywhere else which leads me to have to force quit on my Mac Pro. This  only began happening after the newest update. I just want to listen to my music. Please fix this and quickly.

The version is 1.0.45.186.g3b5036d6 and would the operating system be my 2015 Macbook Pro's MacOS Sierra version 10.12.2.

Re installed spotify at least 10 times  to my macbook pro running OS X El captain 10.11.6  but still not sucseeded

regarding freezing and crushing problem. 

I can play 2 songs than spotify software freezze. Closing the application is impossible - obliged to use force quit command each time

Best fix:

Open Applications folder, right click (ctrl click) on spotify icon, click on show package contents, go into Contents folder, go into MacOS folder, run the "Spotify" exec file.

That launches a new spotify, but you can't close the terminal window.
