Spotify keeps logging out on Samsung smart TV

I have to log back on everytime I turn the tv on, which is inconvenient. I would appreciate the help here.

That's odd. Could you try to reinstall the app on your TV? Here are some steps that could be helpful:

  • Navigate to the Apps panel and locate Spotify under My Apps.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • Go to Samsung Apps and search for “Spotify”. You’ll also find it under search-friendly categories, such as Lifestyle or Music.
  • Select Download.

Unfortunately I cannot uninstall spotify, it is a mandatory/base application that cannot be uninstalled. 

 

I would appreciate it if you can provide an alternative solution.

Alright, no worries! Could you try to login with a different account (e.g. from a friend)? Will the app log you out after closing with that different account? Let me know how you get on! 🙂
