Spotify on my phone no longer connects to a Spotify Connect device

In the last couple of days I received Spotify update on my Android. Since then, Spotify on my phone no longer connects to my Spotify Connect device.

It finds it but it does not connect successfully.

Spotify on my Windows PC does connect no problem. 

The device has not changed (It's RPi + Volumio + Spotify Connect 2 plugin). It's been working flawlessly for the last 2 months until the Android update.

Can you let us know the exact Android version you're running on your device? Let's try doing a full reinstall to see if this makes any difference.
