We discovered a problem with the Spotify App on Android which is the following:
Spotify uses a background service that periodically connects to the previously connected BLE device. This mechanism interferes with our hardware in an unwanted way. (although me and my team can understand the reasons behind this behaviour of the Spotify app).
We also know that this issue has been reported already several months ago:
We would like to know if your developers are already working on a solution for it? We really don't want to develop counteremeasures or display warnings to our users and hope that you therefore can adjust this mechanism by just reconnecting to devices that were used through Spotify Connect. (or at least connect just once, remember that the device is not of use for Spotify and stop reconnecting).
We would love to hear from you (also since our whole team is a big fan of Spotify 🙂
