Spotify removes friends from my list?

everytime i try to add friends it removes them im assuming because im not connected with facebook. However i dont have a facebook and if there is not a solution im going to ditch spotify all together. how can i keep friends without having a facebook?

You should be able to keep the friends you follow even if your account isn't connected to Facebook. The best for now is trying a quick reinstall. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let us know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system that you're running?
