Spotify stops playing via AirPlay

Spotify keeps stopping the Playback via AirPlay´2 on Apple TV 4K. Every now an then the Music stops (every 2 - 15 min, even happens on Bluetooth-Headphones). You then have to disconnect "remote Streaming" and reconnect. Then Spotify keeps working normal for about 15 min until it disconnects again.

issue sill exists on my iPhone XS @ iOS 13.3, AppleTV lates stable Update, and Spotify 8.5.40.252

Same. I’m on AppleTV HD, iPhone 10. All iOS and apps up to date. Anywhere between 2-15min sounds about accurate, then connection with AppleTV is suddenly lost and music playback is stopped.

update your iphone and your apple tv with the last ios and tv os version
and it should work

@Ploki - thanks for sharing this and glad to hear that updating your devices' OS version did the trick!

 

@max123451@Nickarnott87@NikoPikoNiko and @faithless1108 based on that, could also give it another try after updating the OS version of your devices to the latest available version and let us know how it works? If it persists, it'd be really helpful to add the details asked in the status update so we can pass this on to the team looking into this.
