Spotify unable to connect to bluetooth Bose speaker after new update

Please help, I've tried all the troubleshooting I can find but my bose speaker is no longer listed as a device to connect to through the spotify app even though my phone is paired with the speaker.  I will have to cancel my premium membership if I can no longer connect to my speakers. Thank you for any advice.

I can't find any of my Bluetooth devices in my menu since the latest iOS update.  Either fix this or I'll have to cancel as 90% of my listeningbhappens via a Bluetooth device.

Can you try going offline or unplugging the speaker? Does that help?

Hi valsabbagh,

Thank you for your suggestions as I have run out of things to try with no success.  I tried going offline but it didn't make a difference and the speaker is wireless so no need to unplug it.  The Bose soundlink mini has worked successfully with Spotify premium and our Samsung phones/tablet for the past 3 years until this latest update, now it isn't recognised.  The speaker is paired with both phones and the tablet but Spotify will only play on the phone's speaker instead of switching to the Bose.  I would really like to fix this as we play our music every day and it has been just way too quiet in our house lately.  If this will not work, I will have to cancel my premium membership and find a different music streaming service but I would rather stay with Spotify if I can.

This was reported and has been fixed, are you still having issues? If so, have you tried restarting the speaker or router?

I am sorry for the late response but it has been the holidays and I have been busy with other things.  I have tried every suggestion given on this thread as well as what I couuld find on other searches.  My Samsung 4 phone will work with Spotify playing over the bluetooth but the Samsung 7.5 tablet and the Samsung $ Mini phone does not.  These are paired with the bluetooth speakers but that pairing is not recognized by Spotify.  How do you cancel a Spotify subscription?  I am getting tired and frustrated with this situation and don't like paying money for something I can no longer enjoy.  Thank you,  Jeanie
