Stopped getting notifications of playlists I subscribe to

 Mac; iPhone 6

Operating System Version:

Spotify Version:

Stopped getting notifications of playlists I subscribe to

 

 

To reproduce:

  1. PLEASE READ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  2. BEFORE TELLING ME I HAVEN'T CHECKED MY PREFERENCES
  3. AND MARKING THIS ISSUE AS "RESOLVED"

Workaround:

 

 

Additional information:

1) see attached images: EVERYTHING IS PROPERLY CHECKED IN PREFERENCES!!!

 

2) I think this problem may have started when I organized my playiists into PLAYLIST FOLDERS. 

 

3) I regularly got notifications of playlist updates until recently

Just so you know... getting notifications from one's subscribed playlists is an awesome feature. To me, it's a big deal and it's what makes Spotify dynamic, not just a static repository for known songs. i'm not sure if I understand your feedback when you say that you're "giving me one less push notification to deal with." ???

And it was flaged "Not an Issue" ........ This will give up any intentions i had to get premium

it is a real shame too, because getting those notifications used to be my favorite part of using Spotify. whoever the numskull was who marked this as being resolved clearly did not read my notes... my preferences are set properly. I think the problem started when I arranged my playlists into playlist folders. Did you do the same thing? I wish a person could just email customer support, but even if you pay for the premium service that still is not an option.

I didn't touch anything.  A mouth ago i had playlist noifications now i don't...

Tried a lot of things and no effect 😞 If this is not resolved i will try closing this account and making a new one

I have the same issue - I've disabled all alerts, both email and push, saved and logged out everywhere.  I logg back in and re-enable the alert/notifications, but to no avail.

 

Please could someone at Spotify post an update on the status of this ticket?

I am experincing this issue as well. This was an extremely useful feature! Notifications from playlists stopped about 1.5 months ago.
