Stopping mid song

When I am listening to a playlist, after a few songs, spotify just stops mid song. I have to go back to the spotify window or tab i have open and hit play again but it goes back to the star7of the song it was in. This only started happening a few weeks ago.

I've been hacing the same issue on my phone.  Every other app hasn o problem, but Spotify's been less than reliable lately.

Could you let us know what device, operating system and Spotify version you're using? Also, do you remember if this started happening after a specific update or event?

In the meantime. we recommend you log out/back.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016). Android version 5.1.1.

Using Spotify version 8.4.26.770 armV7

I have had two upgrades in the last few weeks but it was happening before either of these and wasn't fixed in either of them.


It works on my windows phone and on the laptop no worries at all.

In this case, we suggest you give the app a clean reinstall with these steps. Give it a shot and check if Spotify behaves any differently.
