- wiping the configuration directory ~/.config/spotify, then re-installing, and restarting
- checked my firewall configuration (nothing has changed anytime related to when this stopped working)
I realize Linux isn't the most well supported distribution, but I have been a premium subscriber for over a year, would appreciate some more ideas on how to fix this.
Edit: Also, when starting spotify from terminal, this shows up:
[0712/201019:ERROR:main_delegate.cc(752)] Could not load cef_extensions.pak [0712/201019:ERROR:main_delegate.cc(752)] Could not load cef_extensions.pak
And after logging in, this shows up in the terminal:
[0712/201034:ERROR:PlatformKeyboardEvent.cpp(94)] Not implemented reached in static bool blink::PlatformKeyboardEvent::currentCapsLockState()
Nothing appears in /var/log/syslog.
Thanks for trying that out.
While we don’t officially support Linux, some of our developers are passionate about and spend some of their spare time working on it.
These developers keep an eye on Linux discussions in ourforums, so that’s where you would report bugs, suggest features, or just talk through help requests. If the issue persists, you can always create a new thread over there.
