The playlist sorts the songs incorrectly in recently added

Hi! After resetting my phone I got an issue when trying to sort my playlist by recently added.

I got a bunch of old songs that I added a long time ago on the top of my list, and a lot further down I find the new ones that I've added, in correct order. So it seems that a bunch of songs have been moved around in my playlist. This hasn't happened to all my playlists, but some of them. Also, it just accured on my android phone, not the computer.

Hey @2late92!

Are you still experiencing the same? If you still need help, feel free to get back to us. For now, we'll be closing the post for it's been a while since we last heard from you.

Take care!

 Hi!

Tried uninstalling the app twice, like it said in the link you sent, but it didn't help.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7, version 8.4.0.539 armV7 in Spotify, if I read correctly.

Thank you so much for helping me 🙂

Thanks for getting back to us with that info @2late92!

Just to confirm, have you sorted how your music is listed with these steps?

If that doesn't work, please let us know if the songs you're adding to your playlists are saved for Offline Mode. It'd be also a great help if you could send us a screenshot of your account.

We'll waiting for your response 🙂

Yes, those are the steps I tried. The songs are saved for offline mode, but I tried adding a new song now, and it didn't download eventhough I'm connected with wifi. Screenshot_20170429-115004.pngThese are at the top of my listThese are at the top of my listThese are the new songs that are supposed to be on topThese are the new songs that are supposed to be on top

Got it @2late92.

Just to make sure, does this continue happening when you use your Spotify account with another device? If it's possible, try sortering out the songs in your playlists using another device or with the web player.

Keep us posted.

2late92

Not sure how to change the sort by on the web player, but if I understand you correctly, I have sorted the list by recently added on my computer. But this didn't affect the list on my phone.

Thanks for keeping us posted, @2late92!

In this case, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page on our website and click Offline devices in the menu on the left.
  2. Click REMOVE ALL DEVICES.
  3. Reinstall the app with the steps here.
  4. Save your offline tracks again.

If that doesn't work, please remove the SD card, if there's one, reinstall the app, then reinsert the SD card again to see if it makes any difference.

Keep us on the loop.

I tried the steps as you instructed, but still no change 😕  the phone doesn't have an SD card either.

Thanks for letting us know, @2late92.

Can you create a new playlist and try to check if the same happens? Also, it'd very helpful if you can try with a friend's account.

Let us know how it goes 🙂
