Unable to play on Sonos.

Hello. I'm trying to use Spotify with Sonos. Keep getting unable to play... connection to Spotify was lost.

Never had this issue before and I've had Sonos for a few years

I can play other sources like on my device SoundCloud etc.

Using iPhone app.

hey, we are having the same problem.

because we live in Curacao (netherlands Antilles) we cannot get spotify Premium, so we realise that by buying cards in the Netherlands and than "upgrade" to premium for 3 months.

this worked perfectly until last wednesday. we had to reset our router and now sonos doesn't give us the choice to add Spotify, and we cannot control sonos from the spotify app either!! we need you help!!!!

it would be very nice when the dutch antilles would be recogniced by companies like spotify, apple and... our visa creditcards are not accepted by these companies so we cannot buy, or upgrade...

 Hi everyone, I solve the problem! I never had a problem until I moved the Sonos boost next to my modem. As soon as I moved the Sonos boost a few feet away again it started working normal again. Must be some sort of interference..

we don’t have a boost.. just play 1 and play 3...

Hi, you are not alone, multiple people having the same issue but neither Sonos or Spotify seem to be admitting that there must be a problem that was introduced with the recent app/code upgrade...

 

They are going through the same troubleshooting steps, e.g. Reboot, reinstall etc.. none of which work.

I guess it had nothing to do with Boost being close to my modem.

It's doing it again arrrrrr. "Unable to connect"

 

whats going on Spotify????

every other subscription I have works with Sonos !!!!!!

Hi everybody! Thanks for writing on the Community.

 

We're here to help. Can you send us the firmware versions of your Sonos devices? Try resetting your WiFi routers to see if this helps.
