Unable to start the Spotify app in Volvo Sensus

We're receiving reports about the Spotify app being stuck on the loading screen on the Volvo Sensus infotainment system.

Same Problem for me in my 2019 v90. Neither Spotify nor Volvo could help, so lets wait...

I also have this problem, 2022 V60

Update: called Volvo support (Sweden), they had no information regarding this problem, but are now creating a support ticket.

Same here with my V60, 2020. BT works fine, but the Sensus Spotify App starts endless with the blue circle, since Feb 6th.

Same problem here - Volvo XC 90 2018 - tried reinstall, no luck. Hopefully volvo or spotify will fix it soon…

Hi Spotify,

As you can see, many users have been experiencing the same problem since the 6th of February 2024.

The problem seems to be clearly on Spotify's side. Please take action and open a ticket for your developers to analyze and correct this bug. "Volvo Sensus Spotify" users have a "Spotify Premium Account" and we would like to be treated the same as all other Spotify Android/Apple etc. users.
