Unplayed tracks in Summer Rewind playlist - let me remove them

I was pleasantly surprised by the Summer Rewind playlist that was auto-generated for me. There's some great tracks on there (30 tracks, about 2hr 06m).

But here's the weird thing: 26 of the tracks are great, and are tracks that I will readily agree I play quite regularly. However, ther are 4 tracks on the playlist from one band (more than any other artist), and I've honestly never listened to the band in my life. It feels weirdly as if Spotify have somehow been paid to include them on x number of playlists.

Just to confirm whether I had listened to this band before (blink-182 if anyone's interested), I checked my last.fm account. I have over 28,000 scrobbles since 2007, 876 different artists scrobbled, and yet Blink 182 aren't on the list. I know not everything I ever scrobbled was from Spotify, but come on - 4 tracks from the same band that I've honestly never listened to???

And what makes it worse is that I can't remove those tracks from summer rewind playlist. So I either have to skip them, or not play the playlist at all, which is kind of annoying.

So, two things: how the **bleep** have I got 4 tracks from 1 band on a playlist when I've never listened to them before, and why can't I remove the tracks from an auto-generated playlist?

Hey @richiebabee! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

That's not cool! I've passed your feedback on to the right folks. Your Summer Rewind uses your data from all summers since 2013. Since you can't edit playlists generated by Spotify, you can as a workaround you can copy all tracks to a playlist you own and delete the tracks you'd like to remove. Let me know if there's anything else.

I have the same issue, for some reason there is one (swedish) group (Basehunter) that I have not lissen to nor understand the language, is in this playlist. An option to remove this would be great.

Hi, there's clearly something wrong with the algorithm for this, but no-one
at Spotify seems to care in the slightest.

My latest summer rewind has lots of random tracks from comedy albums I've
listened to - so obviously no-one thought to weed those out either.

I've given up on them fixing this, and I'd honestly suggest you do to!

I as well have similar issues with the playlist generated for Summer Rewind.

If Spotify is not going to / cannot fix what appears to be an algorithm fault, it seems to me they should not feature it  so prominently.

I also have issue with this. I have one playlist that I use for broadcasting in video games, i dont like the songs in it... in fact they are quite annoying (which is what the point was) but now they are stuck in this frickin playlist! ...what goes around comes around I guess... but seriously, this needs to be changed.
