Update 10.04.2017 with some problems (Spotify crashes)

I am a Spotify Premium User (Rel.1.0.52.725.g943b26a8). Obviously an update was installed yesterday and since than a few options are not available anymore:

1. if pressing the right mouse button on a playlist the option of embedding codes or URLs are not available anymore, see attachment (all playlists are public ones)

2. Spotify is crashing every 2-3 minutes.

I have re-installed Spotify a few times and have cleaned the registry as well, no success.

Thanks, Huib. I have clean deinstalled/installed Spotify a couple of time since yesterday. No change of the problems. What I`ve found out: installing a previous release, e.g. 1.0.50, everything works fine. After restart of my computer and opening Spotify, Release 1.0.52 is  back and the option "Teilen"- needed to get the codes for embedding ou URL -  is not appearing anymore. Spotify is shut doen after approx. 5 Minutes of use. Installing 1.0.50 again it works until the computer will be restarted. Seems there is bug in 1.0.52.725.

Can you let us know what device and operating system you're using? Also, do you have the same issue if you log in from another desktop?

 

You can find the URL by selecting the playlist > "..." > Share > Copy Link to Clipboard.

Hi Aimee, since I have a Premium Family account I have checked 2 other computers in my house (using different family members) and yes, all are suffering from the same problem. Major problem is, that the SHARE option is not available anymore with Spotify Release 1.0.52 (SEE SCREENSHOTS IN MY FIRST POST)

I am using a Windows 10 Desktop (version 1607, Build 14393.953) on all our computers, updated 2 weeks ago before my Spotify probs have started)

That's odd!

 

Does it happen with all your playlists? Also, are you able to see the option Share under the "..." option after selecting one playlist?

 

We'd recommend restarting your computer and let us know how it goes.

Hi Huib + Aimee_T,

 

maybe it`s because of Easter, a miracle appeared this morning 🙂 : although I have re-installed the older Release 1.050 since 1.0.52 was not showing the option "share" when right-clicked on a playlist (all playlists) - happened on all our computers - , now 1.052. is back and WORKING. (automatic update?).

 

Anyway, we can close the case and I appreciate your support. Thanks.
