Users unable to leave Blend playlists

Hey folks, 

 

We've received some reports that users are unable to leave Blend playlists clicking off the green heart or using the playlist menu. 

 

This is being investigated.

Hi! Having a related issue but cant seem to find anyone else experiencing a similar problem and this is the current thread I can find about blend problems. I'm having a desktop specific issue, where a blend I made with a friend simply does not work on my spotify app on my pc, but works fine on my phone. It appears on the left with the rest of my playlists but simply brings up a "something went wrong" dialogue when clicked. Not only that, I cant access my library whatsoever. I can still go through specific playlists from the same dropdown list but the "Your Library" Button just brings up the same error message. I've tried uninstalling the app as well with no luck. As it stands its not a huge issue as I can still access all my usual music other than that but its certainly an inconvenience and I could use some help 🙂

I don't think the new update fixed the issue...

 

I am still unable to leave artist blend playlists from my Android device. The same error message is constantly showing up, whenever I am trying to leave the playlist.

 

I would request you to reconsider the fix, as it's too frustrating for the users!

Still havubg trouble leaving a blend, one that I didn't even create myself. Please help!

hi so i found someone while looking for my friends profile. my friend has confirmed it is not them. anyways they have a blend that spotify made between me and "chewbacca" as their top playlist. i was not aware of any such playlist and i says it was liked by me but i have never seen it before and it would have shown up in my library, right? does spotify just make blends with other users and not notify you?? also i cannot leave or report the blend. ive already blocked the user but the blend still appears in their playlist. i am very confused could someone please help me?

Hi, I logged out of the app, restarted the app, restarted my phone, I’m up to the current update, and I still cannot leave the spotify blend. This is a blend with me and two other friends.

I've seen the post in the ongoing issues that  an update should've allowed users to successfully leave a Blend playlist. This fix hasn't worked for me on my iPad or Android phone. I'm still getting the same error message.

I'm on v. 8.7.44.968 on Android

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

Spotify doesn't fix that, because i have the same problem with BTS blend too. On the 2 different device

I just recently had this. 

 

I suggest to use your PC or laptop, then login to your Spotify account, go to the blend playlists, tap on the heart, then click on the 3 red dots, then tap Remove From My Library then the blend will be remove in your account.
