This should be now fixed in the latest version of the Android app.
If that doesn't do the trick for you, please make sure that Navigation is toggled off from the app's settings.

Hi Guido, this is all very interesting, but given that this ossue has been around for at least 2 months now, could we start getting something back by way of updates?
I've had this issue for several Spotify iterations, noticebly current version below after following all the re-install and cache clean instructions:
I still have the notification popping up, I have an LG G7 running andriod 8.0.0. I do not have Waze installed on my phone, and it is not active in spotify.
I've completely wiped Spotify off of my phone twice, and still am getting this pop up. It just started happening about 5 days ago.
Device: Galaxy S6 Edge - Android 7.0
Spotify Version: 18.104.22.1685
Waze NOT installed
Waze Navigation NOT activated
When my phone connects to the car sound system, the notification appears.
Galaxy Note 9 + One UI 1.0 + Android Pie 9
Spotify version: 22.214.171.1245
Followed the instructions, stil getting the notification when I connect to my car's bluetooth. Galaxy S10, Android Pie, Spotify 126.96.36.1995. Waze has never been installed on this device, not connected.
