Waze popup keeps showing when connected

From some users we've been receiving a message that the pop-up is still showing, even after a full reinstall using these instructions.

I've followed the instruction here but this issue still persist.

Hello, I am still experiencing this issue.

• Your device + OS version: Pixel 2 XL, Android 10 (QP1A.191005.007.A1)
• Your exact Spotify version: 8.5.27.957
• Do you have Waze installed on your device?: No
• Is Waze navigation activated in Spotify?: I had it on, and the notification appeared. I turned it off, and the notification still remained/reappeared next time I was driving.

I was able to get rid of this annoying  issue fixed by doing these

Open spotify-> go to settings -> under connect to apps -> click on navigation -> turn off the slider  which says Get a reminder To use navigation apps When your in a car. -> you are good to go

I am editing my earlier post as despite the "Spotify Connections" notification disappearing upon doing a full reinstall and ensuring the toggle was off, today the notificaition returned.

This bug is not solved - moderators should not mark it otherwise.

I'm having this issue still after I've tried the re-install. 

Galaxy S10, Android 9

Spotify: 8.5.30.579

No waze installed and waze is not activated in Spotify.

I don't even have Waze and it's doing this. Please help. Super frustrating

Samsung Galaxy s7.

Current version from Google play.

Have never heard of Waze. Not on my phone.

It is not active in spotify.

If something is connecting to my phone without my permission that isn't right. I just came back to spotify too.
