Web player skips every song in playlist on Internet Explorer. Desktop app, android and iphone all work just fine. Ive cleared cache and cookies, logged out and back in, restarted router and laptop....any other suggestions
Thanks for all the info, guys.
The new version of the Web Player is only available in Chrome and Firefox, so if you open the player from a different browser, it'd load the old version which might not work properly since we're moving into a new version.
We thank for the feedback and don't worry, we'll make sure it's passed on to the right team!
Hey @MamaMahomie1! Welcome to the Spotify Community!
That's not cool! Let's get to the bottom of this. Does this happen on other browsers as well? Also, could you try using a different account? Let me know how it goes! 🙂
I did try chrome with success, but the new web player in chrome does not scrobble to last.fm so that isnt an option for me right now. In a contest for my daughter that is judged by amount of scrobbles!
Alright, thanks for trying! 🙂 Are you connected to an enterprise network or do you have a firewall/VPN/proxy that might be interfering with Spotify? Let me know! 🙂
Alright, could you try to download the desktop app on your device? Does this happen there as well? Here's an article about scrobbling on desktop which might be helpful.
My daughter is logged into the desktop app and it works just fine! Cant scrobble from ipod and cant tie up my phone to play from there, it works fine on phone as well!
Hmm, thanks for trying! Could you try to disable your firewall for a minute and try to open the Web Player again? Also, could restart your router/modem? Let me know if that helps.
Tried all of the above. Even tried incognito mode in Chrome....it plays but will not scrobble. Guess I will cancel my premium, theres no sense in paying 20/month when only one of us can use it! Thanks for trying to help!
