Web player not working. redirects to openspotify.com instead of playspotify.com

The spotify web player now goes to openspotify.com which is a new, unreliable version that no one likes. I would like to go back to the old version and not this one. Please help me accomplish and fix this problem

We appreciate your feedback. We're still testing and improving the new web player, so we'll pass this onto the team.

In the meantime, let's try clearing your browser's cache/cookies. If this does not help, using a different web browser should do the trick.
