My Question or Issue

The Web Player won't load the song list beyond the ~200 mark.

Expected behavior(What should happen):

Scrolling through the playlist would gradually load all songs, leading to the end of the list.

Actual behavior(The issue):

Scrolling through the playlist is not possible after a certain point, as the loading of the list gets stuck after the 1st or 2nd batch of songs(the playlist effectively never loads past the 2nd loading chunk).

Browsing through the entire playlist or reaching the end of the list is not possible. The three-dot loading indicator at the bottom of the list keeps blinking infinitely.

Tested on different computers, different operating systems and different browsers with the same result.

Hey there @DazzDC

Thanks for reaching out - we’re here to help!

We'd suggest you try opening the web player in a private/incognito window. This step makes sure you avoid issues with your browser's cache. If that doesn't do the trick try again in a different kind of browser.

You can also reinstall the browser preferred by you just to check if you'd observe the same issue.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

DazzDC

Incognito did not fix the issue, and my friend tried to load the playlist fully on her device using web player, which also stopped around the 100th song.

Elena

Thanks for the update @eg19!

In this case we'd recommend trying to open the web player in an incognito window or on a different browser to see if loads as it should.

It's also a good idea to make sure that the browser you're using is up to date.

I also wanted to check if you could try a different network because the issue might lie with the network's setting and not the speed.

If this behavior persists, we'll need to know what browsers this is happening on and their version, in order to look further into this.

We appreciate your cooperation and we hope to have this solved in no time!

Keep us in the loop.

Agreed with Leorlev... I use the Spotify platform in Chrome normally, both
at home and at work. I can still scroll down using the Spotify app on my
phone or using the Web Player, but the search and add song to playlist
functions are clunkier there and it's more work to do the same thing I used
to do effortlessly in my web browser.

I tried switching browsers (Mozilla and Opera) and I tried incognito
windows. None of these had any effect on the ability to scroll down, so the
problem still persists.

so i've searched up this problem twice in the past 2 days, and both posts say that the problem has been fixed, it has been at least 4 days since this has started happening, i can go to my downloaded version and scroll all the way down and cast it to my browser but that's it, it won't load past at least my one hundredth song. i don't know how to fix it and i've had many problems with this same playlist before, it says that the problem is fixed everywhere i look so why is it doing this for me?

I've been having the same issue only on the Web Player. It's a major hassle because it prevents me from choosing any song past the first 100.

My playlist is 229 songs long. After the 100th song the playlist won't work anymore.Hope this gets fixed seen though. Really annoying not being able to add songs to queue that are past 100.

I heard this problem happened before. I used to just refresh the page then it would work, but now you can't see the songs after the first 100 in a playlist. Please fix this spotify.
