My Question or Issue

Using the Web Player with Chrome and Edge, when I try to add a track to a playlist, all the content disappears, and I'm left with a blank (dark grey) screen in that tab.

Hey there folks,

Thanks for your patience so far.

This should be now fixed.

If you're still having troubles, please make sure to give it another try after clearing your browser's cache and cookies memory. If that doesn't do the trick, don't hesitate to give us a shout by posting in the related Help Board. We'll be happy to lend a hand 🙂

Have a lovely day!

Very annoying. Don't break things, spotify, or back to Pandora we will go.

Same for me, added a screenshot with javascript error that causes the blank screen.

Hey there,

We've seen some reports on the Web Player showing a blank page when trying to add tracks to a playlist. If you're also experiencing this, let us know by adding a +vote and comment the following:

  • Device
  • Browser
  • A step by step description of what happens
  • Screenshot

Also make sure to try opening the Web Player in an incognito window, and make sure you have your browser up-to-date. Let us know if that works.

All the best!

For me on the web browser in chrome. Tried clearing cookies, cache, and incognito mode. I right click on a song title to add to playlist and screen goes black. Stays black even when I hit back button to previous page. Only refreshing the page will fix this screen.

Same issue. Windows 7 / Chrome.

arthurbizkit

Same issue. Mac OS + Chrome + No AdBlock. It wasn't broken before. Warum?

Tellenorum

Same issue; Lenovo Ideapad laptop; Win10, experienced on both Firefox and Chrome. When I click on any song's "add to playlist," screen turns black. Music keeps playing, but no buttons will work. Back button in browser keeps black screen. Need to refresh.

I'm using Chrome OS with the Chrome browser and I have the same issue. When I press back to get to a previous page, it stays blank

Chromebook Chrome browser. Same issue. Refreshing, logging out, and closing tab does nothing when I try again. It did allow me to add Who You'd Be Today by Kenny Chasney to a playlist because it was on my recommended for the playlist.Screenshot 2019-05-16 at 11.53.45 AM.png
