Reported by: jwylot

Status: Closed

Description:

This seems to be Windows-only. Happening on, at least, windows 7 and 8.

  • Go to preferences
  • Put the cursor in the username field (field was blank in my case)
  • Now click on the grey bar under the album art in the bottom left

Result: client Crashes 100%

Workaround:

Don't click the bar while in the username field under preferences.

Looks like a Windows issue only (confirmation), works as expected on Linux (Ubuntu 13.04) for me but crashes on Windows!

Happens with back/previous button too.

Hello,

I posted a topic regarding the same problem, but then with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P instead of mouse input when your text cursor is in the Last.fm text fields. So this problem affects keyboard input as well.

I've got the same problem here, my LastFM app is not working

Are you still having issues?

Not sure the issues you where/are experiencing are directly related to this bug 😉

Same problem here.

When I try to enter my last.fm logs,  I got a message : "unable to login the Last.Fm scrobbling server" and the client crashes when I click on the album art.

Couldn't find another place to report a crash bug:

While a playlist is actively playing, if I delete a song on that playlist, Spotify crashes.

Anyone else have this problem?

PS Love me some Spotify, just wanted to make sure this was seen 🙂

Whereas I could reproduce this in earlier versions, version 0.9.7 isn't exhibiting this behaviour any more. Anyone else?

Can confirm this is no longer an issue for me either.
Joe

Seems OK in 0.9.8 too.
