Won't let me play music

My spotify cut out when my internet went out the other day. I went back online, and my song was stopped half way through. Now, it won't let me play anything; it's just stuck on that song, and the play button for the song is dimmed gray and not solid like it should. Made another account, and the same thing happened randomly. I don't know what's going on, but am getting frustrated that nothing is solving my issue. I signed out, restarted my internet, my computer, you name it. Help please.
