Wrong Title when playing in car over A2DP

Since the last update my car system gets the wrong title information:

 

First track - correct title

Second track - title of first

Third track - title of second

fourth track - title of third

and so on

 

please repair!

That's odd. Can you let us know the device, operating system and Spotify version you're using? Also, let us know if you experience the same using a USB cable or if it only happens via Bluetooth. If possible, send us some screenshots to take a closer look.

Hi, my Device is a Oneplus 3T, OS ist OxygenOS 4.1.0 (Android 7.1.1),
Spotify Version 8.0.0.805 armV7. I experience the Problem over Bluetooth
only. Scrrenshots are difficult, because everything look ok, but there is
not the song playing displayed on the car system. (Mostly the previous track
is displayed).

The Problem did start with the latest Version of Spotify i think.

Just to confirm, is this happening with an specific album or playlist?

 

Also, deleting and reinstalling the app on your device might do the trick and if you could send us a screenshot of the error, it'd be very helpful.

No, this happens every time. Reinstalling did not work. By the way: titles on smartwatch (Bluetooth, no A2DP) work well.

That's odd. Could you unpair your devices and pair them again from the Bluetooth settings? Let us know if it makes any diference.

Allready done this..same issue. Also tested with Google Music - everything
ok when using another music app.

Hi, it seems there is a problem only with oneplus3 and the new oxygen os. But everything is okay with all other music Apps, so the problem is related with spotify....

Just to confirm, do you experience the same using any other Bluetooth device? If possible, try logging with a different account and let us know if the same occurs. We'll see what else to suggest.

Hi!

 

It seems that the problem is only at Oneplus3 with Android Nougat AND Spotify. Google Play Music and other Music players work well, onle Spotify has a Problem with this compination.
